About On Air Musicians

On Air Musicians answers one question: who is playing live, right now? Singers, bands, instrumentalists, beatmakers, loopers, synth players and live electronic artists streaming on Twitch, YouTube and Kick — searchable by type, instrument and genre, with a live indicator on every profile. No DJ-only sets; those live on our sister site StreamDJs.

How musicians get listed

Profiles come from three places. Most are built from the public information a musician publishes on their streaming platform — display name, bio, avatar, and the genres and instruments we can infer from their channel — which we index and keep in sync. Others arrive through community submissions. And musicians can claim their own profile from their account to correct it, enrich it, or ask us to take it down.

Live status is checked continuously against each platform, so the Live now page reflects who is actually on air. We do not host any streams; every profile links out to the musician’s own channel, where the platform’s rules and the musician’s rights apply.

Accuracy

Genre and instrument tags are inferred and can be wrong. If a profile is inaccurate — or it’s yours and you’d rather it wasn’t here — the contact page explains how to correct or remove it. We act on removal requests promptly.

Who builds this

On Air Musicians is built in California by Squidcode, a small independent software studio, alongside StreamDJs and MultiTube. It is not affiliated with Twitch, YouTube or Kick.
